Wow, we have been busy!! On December 6th, we had our very own Pacific Regent Holiday Chorus Concert where residents put on an adorable show for their neighbors and families. We had a brand new chorus director this year, Eric Lane Barnes, who is already very well-loved! The show went off without a hitch, had a lot of audience participation, and even ended in a dance number. What fun!
To follow that hard-to-follow evening, on December 15th, we enjoyed our annual Pacific Regent Holiday Party! There were special cocktails, beautiful decorations, fun holiday and Christmas-themed music, a visit from Santa, and the evening was punctuated with a large, very delicious holiday meal. Every resident received a special party favor when they arrived and after a whirlwind greeting from Santa, everyone was seated in the dining room to enjoy a delightful meal of halibut, lamb chops, and lobster bisque. During their meal, they were serenaded by strolling carolers who sang requests of their holiday favorites, and they even performed in full, gorgeous period costumes. This time of year, the entire community transforms into a holiday wonderland with many Christmas trees, menorahs, and so many parties! I think we are all exhausted from so much merriment!
